Biography

Paul met Heather in 1997 after immigrating to the United States to study aviation from The Netherlands. Heather left her job as a soil conservationist in 2000 to serve as a children’s and family advocate for Riverwoods Christian Center in St. Charles, IL. During this time, they were introduced to Theophostic and became interested in the healing ministry through a co-worker. Several years after moving back to Indiana, Paul and Heather began attending Bethel Valparaiso in 2012. After moving to Sacramento, CA for 3 years in 2013 for work, God called them back to Valparaiso in 2016. Excitingly, they were able to learn more about the SOZO (Saved, Healed, and Delivered = SOZO) ministry and serve on the team at Bethel Valparaiso. 

Fast forward to 2023…Paul and Heather feel blessed to be leading the SOZO team. They have seen the Lord’s presence, His Love for His children, and freedom in this ministry. The battle is between the ears and the Lord uses the SOZO ministry to go directly there and reveal the purchased victory by Jesus Christ. Praise The Lord!

The Lord has blessed us with 3 of His children to raise- Joshua, Anya, and Ella. Our family is pursuing His presence. As God yearns for us, so our family yearns for Him. (James 4:5, Jeremiah 31:20)

Paul and Heather are in love with the Godhead and serve HIM, believing HIS everlasting covenant, which is way more than a ticket to heaven. They invite you to join them and be consumed with His Love.
